Write or buy Internet marketing articles that promote your website. The articles should be factual and informational and should not necessarily mention the actual website that you are marketing. Find article directory that has a high page rank. The top article directory sites are ArticlesFactory, EzineArticles, ArticleDashboard and Buzzle. All of these sites have a Google page rank of 6 or 7. THis high page rank is an important factor in raising the rank of your website.

Submit articles to several article directories, making sure that each article has at least one link to your website. Read the submission guidelines for each article directory before submitting your marketing articles. Each site has its own rules about how many links can be included. If you are allowed more than one link, consider linking to two or more pages of your website.
